POLAND AND UKRAINE SIGN AGREEMENT TO DEVELOP RAIL FREIGHT TRANSPORT

CLECAT has send a letter today to the European Commission urging the Commission to take action against Austria to end rules and practices infringing provisions of EU customs and VAT law which jeopardize a level playing field in the internal market. These practices are unfairly impactingAustrian freight forwarders representing EU established importers which are not VAT-registered in Austria.

CLECAT MARITIME LOGISTICS INSTITUTE MEETS
Members of the CLECAT Maritime Logistics Institute met yesterday to discuss the latest developments impacting sea freight forwarders, notably the evaluation of the CBER, the policy updates on the measures related the decarbonisation of maritime transport, as well as the implementation of ICS2 Release 3 for maritime transport.

On 10 October, the European Logistics Platform (ELP) organises an event on the EU CountEmissionsEU initiative which is part of the Commission’s Greening Freight Package.
