CLEVER PROJECT LAUNCHES OPEN CALL FOR INDUSTRY PARTICIPATION

The EU-funded CLEVER project, which aims to develop robust emission factors and methodologies for the transport and logistics sectors, has just launched an open call for industry participation. This initiative invites transport companies and organisations to test and validate how CLEVER’s innovative approach can be applied in real-world scenarios, ensuring accurate measurement and quantification of greenhouse gas emission reductions. The final methodology will be integrated into the upcoming CountEmissionsEU Regulation, making this a unique opportunity to influence future standards for low-emission transport.

Selected participants will collaborate with leading European experts in emissions accounting, pilot the CLEVER methodology, and contribute to shaping the regulatory framework. Benefits include gaining early insights into the implications of CLEVER for CountEmissionsEU, enhancing your organisation’s sustainability strategy, and achieving visibility as a frontrunner in sustainable logistics. The call is open to all transport and logistics stakeholders, with applicants encouraged to submit one or more real-world use cases.

Engagement is estimated at 5 to 6 days over one year, including short calls, data-sharing, and feedback sessions. The deadline for applications is 30 January 2026. For more information and to apply, visit the CLEVER Open Call page.
