CLECAT WEBINAR ON EFTI PLATFORMS
As of autumn 2025, Member State authorities will be obliged to accept freight information provided electronically via dedicated electronic freight transport information (eFTI) platforms. By moving freight information, which today accompanies the cargo almost exclusively on paper, to digital format, logistics service providers and IT service providers will be provided with a whole range of new opportunities from which they can benefit. In the coming months the European Commission will adopt a number of critical implementation specifications for the implementation of the eFTI exchange environment.
CLECAT organises a dedicated webinar for its members on the 16th of May during which the European Commission and an IT service provider will explain the core building blocks of the new information exchange environment, how it will be put together, and most importantly, how this is expected to impact the sector.
