Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation: Joint Transport and Logistics Sector Calling for Greater Clarity and Simplification
Transport and logistics operators and service providers play an essential role within circular economies; without them, circular economies would not function. As integral actors within circular economies, efforts to reduce environmental footprints through the adoption of more sustainable business practices - including through more sustainable packaging solutions – can significantly help to support the EU to reach its relevant sustainability and decarbonisation targets. Nonetheless, the aforementioned goals can only be achieved through clear, simple, and attainable regulatory framework.
