CLECAT position paper on the Clean Corporate Vehicles proposal
CLECAT, the European Association for Forwarding, Transport, Logistics and Customs Services, supports the European Union’s objective of accelerating the decarbonization of road transport. As vans and trucks play an important role in logistics operations, CLECAT has a direct interest in this initiative. In this context, the association wishes to draw policymakers’ attention to several key measures related to the proposal for a Regulation on Clean Corporate Vehicles, adopted on 16 December 2025.
The sector is fully committed to contributing to the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions and is already actively engaged in implementing more sustainable logistics solutions across supply chains. This is why the effectiveness of any policy initiative in this area depends on its ability to reflect the operational realities of the logistics sector and to address the structural barriers that continue to hinder the large-scale deployment of zero-emission vehicles.
