CLECAT Comments Paper on the Wise Persons Group Report
CLECAT overall welcomes the conclusions of the Wise Persons Group’s report, entitled ‘Putting more Union in the European Customs’, calling for urgent fundamental and wide-ranging reforms to the legislative framework and functioning of the EU Customs Union.
In its comments paper, CLECAT outlines the main observations of European freight forwarders and customs brokers concerning the ten recommendations of the Wise Persons Group.
