The work of the Digital Transport and Logistics Forum’s (DTLF) Subgroup 1 (Paperless Transport), which is the formal Commission Expert Group on the electronic freight transport information (eFTI) Regulation, is moving forward at a good pace with the eFTI Regulation’s implementation. This week, the working team within Subgroup 1 responsible for the certification aspects, of which CLECAT is a member, met to discuss the state of play of the work relating to the certification requirements, certification procedures, as well as the proof of certification.

Moreover, the DTLF’s Subgroup 3, whose mandate is to provide feedback to the Commission for the preparation of the eFTI Delegated Acts, met to discuss the progress of the eFTI Regulation’s implementation, as well as the state of play of preparation of the eFTI Delegated Acts. During the meeting, presentations were given on the national provisions and corresponding regulatory information requirements, in line with Article 2(1)(c) of the eFTI Regulation. The group, which consists of Member State Experts and of which CLECAT is an observer member, discussed the developments and next steps, in view of the adoption of the Delegated Act, which is planned for February 2023.
