PROPOSED CHANGES TO TEN-T GUIDELINES RELATING TO WAR IN UKRAINE

On 6 July, the European Commission published a call for evidence concerning an amendment to the proposed guidelines for the Trans-European Transport (TEN-T) network in light of the war in Ukraine.

The initiative aims to ensure that new EU guidelines on developing the Trans-European Transport (TEN-T) network reflect geopolitical changes following Russia’s war of aggression in Ukraine. The Commission will amend its proposal for new guidelines in the form of a revised EU Regulation. The amendments will relate to the TEN-T network map in EU and non-EU countries (European transport corridors) and requirements aimed at improving the interoperability of the network.

The call for evidence remains open until 20 July and can be found here.
