ICS2 WORKSHOP – LAST CHANCE TO REGISTER
On 6 July, CLECAT & DG TAXUD are organising a workshop to support freight forwarders to prepare for the new EU customs advance cargo information system. The workshop will be held in Brussels, but participants can join online. So far more than 200 participants have registered.
The next phase of the ICS2 system - Release 2 - will go live on 1 March 2023. Economic Operators, including freight forwarders and air carriers involved in handling, shipping and transporting of cargo ,express or postal consignments to or via the EU by air have to comply with new data reporting requirements for pre-loading and pre-arrival customs risk assessments. If you want to continue to move your goods into the EU, you need to be prepared for ICS2.
