EP PUBLIC HEARING ON AI AND TRANSPORT

On 11 October, the Members of the European Parliament’s Special Committee on Artificial Intelligence in a Digital Age (AIDA) and of the Transport and Tourism (TRAN) Committee will hold a joint hearing on AI and Transport, from 13.45-15.45h CET, which will be webstreamed.

The hearing will be composed of two panels, in which representatives from the academia, private sector and civil society will share their views on the long-term impact of AI on transport modes and mobility until 2030 (Panel 1). During the second panel, the discussion will also cover the EU Transport Policies with a special attention on how to prepare for AI while minimising risk. The full agenda is available here.
