ELP WEBINAR ON LACK OF SKILLED WORKFORCE IN THE LOGISTICS SECTOR

There is still the possibility to register for the European Logistics Platform webinar “Lack of Skilled Workforce in the Logistics Sector: how to overcome shortages and attract talent?” taking place on Wednesday 16 November from 10:00 to 11:15 CET.

At times of crisis, the European transport and logistics sector is challenged to attract skilled talent and workforce to do the job. The webinar will provide a forum to facilitate a discussion with policy makers and business representatives on what can be done to improve the situation of the shortage of skilled drivers and other logistics personnel in Europe. Topics for discussion will include attracting workforce to the profession, barriers to entry, automation, professional training requirements, as well as attracting women to the logistics profession.

Confirmed speakers include MEP Marianne Vind (S&D, Denmark), Pablo Fabregas-Martinez (Member of the Cabinet of Commissioner Adina Valean, European Commission), Raluca Marian (IRU), Morten Utegen (Utegen Transport SA) and Yves Baden (CFL). Registration is possible via this link.
