EC RECOMMENDS REDUCING GHG EMISSIONS BY 90% IN 2040

On 6 February, the European Commission published a Communication recommending a 90% net greenhouse gas emissions reduction target by 2040 compared to 1990 levels, in order to achieve climate neutrality by 2050.
