WCO LAUNCHES ONLINE AEO COMPENDIUM
The World Customs Organization (WCO) has launched the online AEO Compendium (OAC), which contains concrete and structured information of the current AEO programmes and Mutual Recognition Agreements (MRAs) implemented by WCO Members, as well as the programmes/initiatives under development. In addition to the provision of basic information on AEO and customs compliance programmes, the online compendium also provides an overview of the respective AEO programmes’ criteria, accreditation procedures and benefits.
The online compendium will replace the current annual paper based AEO compendium. It will provide a number of advantages including offering the ability to process, manage and analyze AEO- and MRA-related information more efficiently.
