SAVE THE DATE: MARKET PLACE SEMINAR 2021
Registration is open for the 10th edition of the Market Place Seminar organized by the International Federation of Freight Forwarders Association (FIATA) and the International Union of Railways (UIC), taking place on Thursday 14 October 2021 from 11:00 to 14:00 CET. As the event coincides with the European Year of Rail, the event is supported by CLECAT.
The Market Place Seminar offers a business-oriented platform for all stakeholders of the logistics chain, including freight forwarders, railway undertakings and their customers, to foster interactive and lively exchanges on transport solutions and business opportunities.
This year’s event will debate how multimodality can support current supply chain challenges, including congestion and delays in many global supply chains, shortage of infrastructure, and pressures to decarbonize transport. The three panels will debate possible solutions to make rail freight supply chains more resilient by means of multimodal solutions, digitalisation and the development of multimodal rail freight corridors.
