DTLF SUBGROUPS MEET VIRTUALLY

This week, CLECAT participated in the meetings of the Digital Transport and Logistics Forum’s (DTLF) Subgroup 1 on paperless transport and Subgroup 2 (Federated Network of Platforms).

The DTLF’s Subgroup 1, which is the formal Commission Expert Group on the eFTI Regulation, presented the progress and planned next steps of the individual teams on data-, functional-, and technical aspects, as well as certification and implementation. The data team presented the progress on the second draft of the eFTI Data Requirements, which is based on EU legislation information requirements, containing approximately 250 data elements. The functional team presented the progress of the generic Business Process Model (BPM), as well as an update on the integration with the Waste Shipments environment, whilst a presentation of the design decision recommendations was given by the technical team. Moreover, the certification and implementation team, of which CLECAT is a member, presented its progress, including the first draft proposal of recommendations on the eFTI certification procedures and mark. Moreover, the implementation strategy and planning for the public- and private sector use cases, to which CLECAT also contributed with a business case, were discussed.

Lastly, the European Commission also presented the state of play of the eFTI implementation preparation, including on the implementing and delegated acts of the eFTI Regulation. CLECAT also attended the meeting of the DTLF’s Subgroup 2 (Corridor Freight Information Systems), during which relevant policy developments, and the progress of the Subgroup’s teams, as well as the way forward were presented.
