DTLF SUBGROUP 1 MEETS
On 27 April, CLECAT participated in the meeting of the Digital Transport & Logistics Forum’s (DTLF) Subgroup 1 (Paperless Transport), which is the formal Commission Expert Group on the eFTI Regulation.
Updates were given on the state of play of the eFTI implementation preparation, including on the implementing and delegated acts of the eFTI Regulation, which was followed by a Q&A session. Additionally, updates were given on the progress and next steps of Subgroup 1 as a whole, as well the individual teams of subgroup 1, including on data-, functional-, and technical aspects, as well as the certification and implementation elements. As regards certification and implementation, the work of the team, of which CLECAT is a member, recently kicked off. The draft workplan was presented, including the different subtasks relating to the certification of platforms and service providers, as well as implementation and communication strategy, which includes the identification of public & private sector business cases for implementation.
CLECAT also attended the meeting of the DTLF’s Subgroup 2 (Corridor Freight Information Systems) on 28 April, during which relevant policy development, and he progress of the Subgroup’s teams, as well as the way forward were presented.
