Logistics for Europe Forum 2023 | PARTNERING COMPLIANCE AND COMPETITIVENESS IN THE EU – IS IT POSSIBLE?
On 17th November 2023, the European Freight Forwarders Association (CLECAT) and the European Shippers’ Council (ESC) welcomed around 150 participants, keynote speakers, and panellists at the Logistics for Europe event, organised jointly at the Stanhope Hotel in Brussels.
The collaborative initiative underscores the importance of enhanced cooperation between shippers and service providers in the logistics supply chains to ensure the EU remains a competitive and sustainable hub for logistics. The event delved into the EU Customs Reform and its potential impact on SMEs in the EU and on the need for trade to adopt sustainable and transparent sourcing practices, marked by new reporting standards.
