EC PUBLISHES RECOMMENDATIONS TO COMBAT COUNTERFEITING AND ENHANCE THE ENFORCEMENT OF IPR

This move, prompted by the surge in counterfeit goods, which constituted nearly 6% of EU imports in 2019, aims to safeguard innovation, investment, and the green transition.

COMMISSION ANNOUNCES TARIFF INCREASE ON RUSSIAN AND BELARUS GRAIN IMPORTS

On 22nd March the European Commission announced plans to increase tariffs on cereal, oilseed, and grain product imports from Russia and Belarus, including wheat and sunflower meal, to prevent EU market destabilization and tackle the illegal export of Ukrainian grain mislabelled as Russian.

EC MAKES €1BN AVAILABLE FOR RECHARGING AND REFUELLING POINTS UNDER CEF
