RASTATT DISASTER! Open letter to EU Commissioner Bulc and Federal Minister Dobrindt
On 4 September, the representatives of the European rail logistics, including CLECAT, send an Open letter to Commissioner Bulc and Federal Minister Dobrindt addressing the severe problems of rail freight on Europe’s most important North-South corridor as a consequence of the Rastatt construction site accident. This interruption, which is likely to last until 7 October 2017, is already causing immense damages to rail logistics.
Alternative solutions have to be found to solve the problem as soon as possible to prevent further damage to rail freight transport and trade in the Member States involved.
